For a unique design element for your home, office or business use our Tongue and Groove (T&G) boards. They can enhance your walls, ceilings, soffit and other projects. Marks Lumber’s T&G boards are made to Western Wood Products Specifications and are graded accordingly.

We stock 1inch X 6inch (1x6) #2 grade Douglas Fir and 1x6 #3 grade Blue Pine.

One side of the board has the WP4 pattern and the other side has a Center Match pattern.

We also stock 1x6 #2 grade Pine with the WP4 pattern on one side and WP6 on the other.

If you desire a more rustic look, we can custom make T&G with a circle sawn or bandsawn face. Cedar and certain other species can be ordered in 1x4 and 1x8 sizes.

A clear water-based finish on Pine, Blue Pine or Douglas Fir will allow the natural beauty of the wood to shine. An oil-based finish will give a yellow tint to Pine and Blue Pine. Marks Lumber also stocks 2x6 Douglas Fir T&G. You might want to use this for areas such as soffits, decking and lofts. We sell it with a smooth or rough sawn texture.

Traditionally, customers install T&G vertically or horizontally. For a more contemporary look, install it diagonally. As with all wood products, it is best to follow the Western Wood Products installation instructions. http://markslumber.us/resources
