8-inch Wide Flooring Discontinued

Marks Lumber has discontinued the manufacture of 8-inch circle-sawn flooring. After filling our current orders, we have a very small amount left. If you run short (or think you might) on a current project, get in touch with us as soon as possible.
Concerns about cupping and shrinkage have led Marks to grade 8-inch material tighter and tighter for flooring. This has caused us to be unable to manufacture a significant quantity, and the concern about movement remains. There are other products where a little cupping is less critical and are therefore a better use our 1x8 blanks.
It’s always hard to step away from a product, but we look forward to continuing to provide 4-inch and 6-inch circle sawn flooring.
